One of the first things I noticed was that I heard more than five languages in the span of 30 minutes. I spent the past few weeks in Switzerland exploring more of what we don’t get enough of, mother nature. After visiting last Spring, this beautiful country quickly became one of my favorite places to travel. I loved it so much that I had to come back again this year, but this time, I spent almost all of my time in alpine villages, in towns tucked away in valleys, and surrounded by all things green, glacierous, and great. As I pulled my suitcase through cobblestoned lined streets, I marveled at the melting pot of culture, language, and charm in the Swiss Alps. Living the everyday life in a culture and country different than my own made me feel grounded, curious, and ready to explore. Being here reminded me right away why I came back. It’s the little things and the smallest details that leave the biggest mark. Follow along as I reflect on my learnings, wonderings, and experience in this magical place.
