Rose: Today I got to go snowboarding with someone who means a lot to me, in a different country, at an amazing ski resort. The weather was not too cold, and the views were amazing.
Thorn: When I tried to go toes down all the way to challenge myself, I fell and my board hit my thigh. Definitely going to have a huge bruise tomorrow.
Bud: I hope tomorrow is filled with good food, adventure, and happy memories.
With the new year in full swing, I have been so busy with life that I haven’t been able to post a lot here. As I have to balance so many things on my plate, I am finally in the swing of things and will have time to post more. For now, I will post my rose, thorn, bud for the day. One reflection activity I do with my kids is called “Rose, thorn, bud.” Basically it’s thinking about something good, not so good, and something you are hopeful for for tomorrow.
Rose: I had the chance to bond with my co- workers tonight.
Thorn: I haven’t been sleeping well this week, so today I was tired.
Bud: I hope I have the chance to go for a run in the nice weather.

Im excited that the year is coming to an end because I can look back on my photo tabs and reminisce about the things that i’ve done, places i’ve traveled to etc. With that said, Ill post the reminder of my 2019 photos here! Happy New Year!

As the year is coming to an end many people probably have an idea of what their “New Year” resolution is. It’s funny to me how people think they should wait until the new year in order to start a goal. Why can’t they start it on any other day? Anyway, some of the top resolutions are probably are to start a new diet, lose xxx amount of weight etc. As for myself, my resolutions are more ongoing. I have been working on things internally for awhile now. Something I do want to do is more things that push me out of my comfort zone.
