Another Victorian I saw around town. Look how intricate the paint job is. xoxo,e

Juicing

For the past few days i’ve been having this cough that I can’t seem to kick. I recently went to this juice bar and it inspired me to do some juicing myself. Juicing is something I did a lot before, but it takes so much time! Since I stayed home today I decided to go grocery shopping and make some juicy myself. Juicers are amazing things. You just put all of your fruit, veggies, roots etc. inside and voila!

The two juices I made today were:

1LB Carrots cut in half the long way

3 Beets

1 Lemon

AND

3 Cucumbers

1 Stalk of celery

1 Lemon

3 Apples

After everything get squeezed out, the pulp sticks to the side of the juicers walls to be scooped out, then I bottled the juices into glass POM cups. ITs a shame they don’t sell the POM juice in those anymore…

Hopefully these juices help my cold!

San Francisco Auto Show

Every year San Francisco hosts an auto show the weekend after Thanksgiving. I use to go with my dad every year when I was younger as a tradition. Being that I had an interest in cars, going to the Auto show was like being a little kid in a candy store. I would love to see all of the new cars coming out for the next year. I liked the fact that you could go inside of the cars most of all. This year, I went and got to see a lot of the upcoming cars from various car brands. It amazes me how “futuristic” the cars are becoming these days. Personally, I enjoyed seeing the old American cars (of course) and all of the different rims the cars had.

Isn’t is interesting how the three people I care about most all had bad days today? Myself included. Hopefully, tomorrow is a better one, e.

Thanksgiving

This year was the first time in two years that I got to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Unlike some other people, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. In American culture the “typical” Thanksgiving meal consists of turkey, stuffing, ham, cranberry sauce, candied yams, pumpkin pie, and of course many other things. This year I was so happy that I got to eat some of my favorite food and spend time with family. Here is what some of my Thanksgiving looked like.

One Year Ago, Today

One year ago today I was in one of my favorite places in Japan, Kyoto. Kyoto has so much history, charm, and beautiful scenery I can always go there and find new places to explore. During the Fall, Kyoto has some of the most beautiful scenery ever imaginable. Here are a few pictures that I took from my trip.

One Happy Thing A Day

One of my students, Ayana recommended I should keep a list of one happy thing a day.

Todays happy thing: FINALLY went to NAB this morning. It was such a good workout, I want to try to go more!

What’s your happy thing for today?
