One of my favorite books to read was “The Giving Tree” by, Shel Silverstein. I remember when I was younger I could have gotten this book read to me over and over and still enjoy listening to it. For those of you who don’t know what this story is about; it’ about a boy and a tree. The boy and tree grew up together and have always been there for one another. Through out the boys life, the tree was always there for him when he needed. It’s a simple, yet gratifying story and reading it as an adult still brings joy.
