This photo was taken at a fish market in Hokkaido, Japan. The northern most prefecture in Japan. Something that amazed me about this fish market was all of the amazing crab they had. Hokkaido is known for crab, and as you can clearly see, it looks delicious. Hokkaido is another one of my favorite places to visit in Japan. It has a very different “feel” than other cities. Due to Hokkaido being such an ample place for fishing, this prefecture is able to catch a lot of seafood.

This is Sensoji Temple in Tokyo’s Asakusa. Absolutely one of the most beautiful in Tokyo. The hotel I was staying at was two blocks from here so I took a walk here during the night and took this picture. During the day time there are always TONS of people here. Students on their school trip, tourists, locals, etc. Something about coming here at night was so peaceful and nice. I’d say the look and atmosphere here at night is totally different as well. Coming here is a must for those of you traveling to Tokyo!

Does this food not look AMAZING or what?! This picture was taken in Tokyo, in the Ginza area. Japan has the BEST ramen! In the picture, from left to right, there is a spicy pork ramen, pork belly over rice, gyoza, and tonkotsu ramen. Yum, yum, yum. Unlike, San Francisco, this whole meal was probably less than $30.

This picture was taken in Tokyo. Japan really does amaze me with how much they do for advertising. This was on one of the buildings. If you look closely you can see sumo wrestlers on it.

This photo was taken in one of my favorite places in Japan, Kyoto. This little shop was on the street leading up to one of the most beautiful (in my opinion) temples in Japan, Kiyomizu dera temple. On the way to this temple, it’s usually packed with people walking up and down the store filled street. There are a lot of people selling omiyage (souvenirs), food, goods, and other trinkets. This photo in particular is a little shop that sold tea pots, tea cups, and other ceramic dishes.

This photo was taken on a trip to Tokyo. This was a light exhibit called Team Lab Borderless in Toyosu Tokyo. It was interesting because the whole exhibit features different lights and things to look at. This picture in particular was a flower room. In this room there were thousands of moving flowers floating on the walls, floor, ceiling. As the flowers were moving, you are able to walk through the room, enjoy, and take pictures. Not only did this exhibit have the flower room, but also many other rooms that utilized different types or light and light movement.
